Toy Mountain Drop Off CharityThe Toy Mountain Drop Off is an annual charity aimed to help those in need during the holiday season. All proceeds from this charity go to the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter. It is our hope that this campaign will raise awareness around domestic violence and abuse and the great work the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter does, in addition to collecting items the shelter desperately needs to help the women and children they serve.
Dr. George Stanley students and staff are being encouraged to support this charity by bringing new, unwrapped gifts to school, from November 28th to December 20th. To learn more about this project, or to make a monetary donation, please go to: https://www.calgarywomensshelter.com/index.php/give/ctv-toy-mountain. Thank you for your support. We are also overjoyed to announce that, for every toy donated, Calbridge Homes will match the donation! Just imagine how many lives this charity will touch! – DGS Leadership Club COP Ski Trip Information for Monday, Nov. 27 First and foremost, please dress appropriately for the weather.
